CPR and Advanced Pediatric First Aid

Offered every 3rd Monday of the month at our SAFF Resource Center. Contact Kristen at Advantage CPR to sign up for the next class.

SAFF Advanced Training

The Sierra Association of Foster Families monthly Association Meetings feature an advanced training session the 2nd Thursday of every month at our Foster/Adoption Resource Center
located on 3376 Lakeside Court.
Meetings run from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. and training from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thanks in part to the generosity of Washoe County Department of Social Services.

No childcare provided at this time.

Foster Care and Special Needs Adoption Orientation

The Foster Care and Special Needs Adoption Orientation, which is sponsored by Washoe County runs approximately 3 hours and reservations are required. Contact Recruitment and Training at

Sign up for a "How Do I Get Started Class?

1/2 hour direct instruction at 9:30am and again at 11:ooam.

Email Cile Cogburn ccogburn@washoecounty.us to sign up for class of your choice.

There will also be plenty of scrabook paper and stickers and, "odds and ends" scrapbooking supplies "For Free"

Also Fabulous Raffle Prizes and Snacks.

You may come in anytime from 9:00am-to 1:00pm that day and work on your Lifebook.

As always you can come in any day Monday through Friday 9am-4pm to get supplies or work on Lifebooks.
