Thank you to the Frank M. Doyle Foundation for sponsoring this wonderful tutoring program!

Our Purpose
The purpose of our tutoring program is to help students become independent and successful learners by assisting them to develop good study skills, to increase their understanding of course content, to enhance their self-confidence, and to develop a positive attitude toward learning. We work with our foster parents and are available to help and support them with the educational challenges. While our primary targeted age group is 8th, 9th, and 10th grades we tutor any student depending on need and available space.
In addition to our regular individualized tutoring program, SAFF is offering special interest small group instruction beginning the week of June 16. Students may be signed up for these special interest classes and/or individualized instruction. Our program is funded through a special grant and is available to all students in foster families with no charge to the family. All instruction is held at our SAFF Resource Center We are offering a variety of classes which will depend on your interests. We welcome requests or suggestions and have qualified teachers reading to meet your needs. For additional information or questions, contact our tutor coordinator, Lora Nay. We can expand to additional days and times. Sign up to receive information by e-mail on changes and additions to our schedule. Our web site will also contain current info. You may call, e-mail or fax your request to add student/s to the schedule. This must be done prior to attending any class. Drop-ins are not acceptable. Attached to this e-mail is a contact form and class registration.
